San Soo Kap San Sushi - Edison

Features: The curry ramen was not terrible, but its def not good. It has a nice side dish tho.

If you're going to wear a cap in New Jersey, why not wear a San Soo Kap? This is the pretty standard pre-packaged sushi place that is popular but not amazing. It's got one good thing going for it, which is that it's very cheap, and such is the strength of it, but the sushi doesn't taste great and definitely doesn't taste fresh either. There's a lot of great food in Edison and this isn't one of my favourites, but it's still a lot better than some of the sushi **** they're sellinga at grocery stores. But I've had cheap sushi in Manhattan and Chinatown Boston that was incredible, so I know it can taste better than this while still being cheap.

I'm still regretting I got the salmon sushi here!!!! I should have checked this Yelp review before buying their sushi. The salmon tasted so disgusting. They smell and tasted like those non sushi type salmon. Even hmart sushi taste better than their sushi. Ended up have to throw out the whole order. Nightmare!

Their Japanese ramen lacks flavor and is quite plain. The udon is a bit better, but still nothing extraordinary. The Korean-style fried chicken wings are likely the standout dish at this restaurant.

My experience here was horrifying. Skip the wait time to order food Skip the soulless service Let 's jump straight to the food itself... The shoyu ramen came a little late, not a problem. But the moment I sat down and picked my chopsticks I was sucked into an eternal darkness. Before I realize what was happening I was on my knees, blood was dripping out of my eyes, and I felt something extremely unpleasant entering my mouth. For the next forty minutes the foul ramen-like thingy was literally fisting my throat with random stuff it picked up from a sewer. The worst part was, while kneeing, at the corner of my eye I see the chief smiling at me from behind the counter. The soup was burning my tongue but his gaze shattered my spine. I know at that moment I 've consumed the worst ramen that ever ravaged the depth of my memory. That day, a piece of my love for ramen have gone missing. It was truly the worst ramen I 've ever had in my entire life. Avoid it like a plague.
