Boom Boom Chicken - Edison

The wing and drumstick box was absolutely delicious, featuring two different sauces. The chicken was moist, and the bread was crunchy. I highly recommend it!

The chicken stays crispy even after a drive home. The spice level is quite manageable, and the heat intensifies slowly. Some of the drumsticks are quite large, but I found the texture of the meat in those bigger pieces to be less appealing. A 16-piece box could easily feed 2 to 3 people. I do wish there were more flavor options available. Overall, it’s worth a visit, but I wouldn’t be overly excited about it.

Kono roasted chicken in Hmart next door is good. But I like Boom Boom Chicken more. The chicken is super crispy, even after 2 hours. Only the complaint is the spiciness is not consistent. Someday it can get hot! We ordered Donkatsu and there was a lot of pork chop, come with sesame sauce, rice and maissalat. Only the complaint is a bit dry. Sweet potato fries is good. The fried shrimps were also very good. Tips: 1) If you want to save some money, come for the weekday lunch special. 2) Please understand that they roast the chicken after ordering, it can take 10-15 minutes. If you do not want to wait, order online or call them in advance. 3) if you have some overhauled chicken, you can have the chicken (2 pieces) for 30 sec, preheating the toaster oven or air frit to 375 F, bake it 2 min, flip to the other side, 2 more min. It will be crispy again

Today we drove from Staten Island to buy lunch. On arrival I was told that there were no drumsticks. Then I decided to buy a chicken wing big order 24.99) and two-2 CHICKEN BREASTS, as a person in my family does not eat wings. I was charged 5.00 for the chicken breast. Once at home we took the chest out of the container, to my surprise, I paid five dollars for 2 pieces of chest, not for two breasts. Picture included. I feel that the girl in the front was not honest enough. I asked if they were breasts and she said yes. She told me there were pieces of chicken breast and no full chest. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NIT HOMEST, GOT RIPPED AUS! I bought chickens from them. It was as if it looked like it was KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN. THESE TWO PIECES OF CHICKEN FOR 5 are a joke! Not back!

Store is clean and wide open. Staff are friendly and very considerate. Simple menu increases quality of food. Lots of drink choices. We ordered popcorn chicken and fried dumplings. The popcorn chicken is a little tough to chew but the crispiness and flavor of the spicy sauce is amazing. The fried pork dumplings are very crispy and delicious. Great place to eat and I will come back again.
