The Tower - Edinburgh

Excellent location, delicious menu and cocktails. Great service. But expensive! But A for overall quality and experience.

Excellent experience, a tad on the expensive side, but you get what you pay. Service was excellent and so were the views.

There was something good and unfortunately not so good with our meal. Everything would have been better if we had good service, but it was terrible. I just don't think that our waitress was looking after or she was completely uninterested to make a pleasant experience for us. We started with the oysters and were very good. The sea bass and cod with chorizo were also very good for the main dishes. Everything was only moderate, and for the price it should have been excellent. We went for the view of the castle, but we sat in an area where you couldn't see the castle, so we were also cheated. We're not going back.

This is our second time in Edinburgh and the first time that we had dined at The Tower. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was great. There is nice view of Edinburgh Castle too.
