The Real Pizza Factory - Edinburgh

The service at the restaurant tonight was terrible. I placed an order through the Android app and it was approved. However, when I arrived for pickup 30 minutes later, I was informed that I had to choose a standard pizza for a free promotion. I did not receive any advance phone calls before traveling to the store, so there was no pizza ready and it was a wasted trip. Although I tried to switch my order to a standard ham and mushroom pizza, I was told that there was no seafood available, so they couldn't prepare the order. I was extremely upset that I had traveled 20 minutes to collect a pizza that they couldn't even make, and I was not informed about it beforehand. The service tonight was disgraceful, and I will not be using this branch again. I hope that employee does not work there for long.

I placed my order at 8pm and it is now 9:30pm and I am still waiting. I called the restaurant and was informed that I am waiting for their delivery driver to return and my order will be prioritized. I find this unacceptable as they have not even apologized for the delay.

I placed an order on Just Eat but my delivery didn't arrive until an hour and a half later. I had to call the restaurant to inquire about my order and was informed that it would take another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, my pizza never arrived and there was no communication from the restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful pizza and calzone! Where has this place been all my life! And I'm totally gutted as I have vowed as of today not to eat any take away food for at least a month! Guess you will just need to be my monthly treat! Even the little complimentary starter was lush! The dips were so tasty! Cannot recommend this place enough! I loved the food so much that I went out of my way to call the branch and tell them how beautiful the food was and how much we enjoyed it!

Very friendly staff, reasonable price and excellent quality pizza with an authentic Italian taste. Will definitely be coming back!
