The Olive Branch Bistro - Edinburgh

The hunger had hunted down and we were desperate that we were good for brunch somewhere. I love the broughton street for their different places to eat, but was on the hunt after a first visit; and so the olive industry won. I'm driving most days past this place and it's always busy what's a good sign to me. people always seem to eat, laugh and have a good time. we were greeted by friendly staff and showed our sitting. the place was quite busy and had a nice bush over it. the menu was very seductive with delicious sounding eating on the menu and the special board as if breakfast (with a veggie option,) club sandwiches, king prawns with ananas salsa and haggis bon bons. I love that they have gluten-free options and a healthier option.

Just superb. finally tried to try this well-respected bistro in the broughton street today. I was directed to a free table on the window and a free glass of ice water was provided with the menus. a nice note. I chose the jerk chicken salad and the braided bark. the salat was quite exquisite and not the token effort I expected. charred stripes of chicken breast with a wonderful mango salsa and perfectly rated dressing. even more impressive was the glamour of bark. the meat was so tender and the tomaten wut balanced the enough perfectly. even the butterfash was great. add them in the fast and friendly service and I can't recommend this location very much. a deserved supplement to my favorite list.

Amazing food! Went there for my birthday and had 3 amazing meals. Some prices are a bit high but the quality of food is great. Plus we had a very friendly waiter. Really recommend the salmon with pineapple salsa and cheesecake to die for :

If looking for relaxed, friendly bistro that is excellent value for money, look no further.

This place has THE best **** Mary in town. Be aware if you ask it spicy it will be spicy! Love it! I have been here several times for breakfast and always been exceptional. You get a normal sliced bread not cheap toast bread, scrambled egg is just perfect not the cream loaded version. Service is casual and cool. Never had any other food though but if they are as good as breakfast they are the winners.
