El Falafel Bristo Place - Edinburgh

I can confirm that this restaurant serves the best falafel I've tried in Edinburgh. The owner is very friendly and passionate about sharing their love for Middle Eastern falafel. The falafel, served with Syrian flatbread, tahini dressing, pomegranates, turnips, radishes, and optional strong spice, is comparable to the original falafels in the Middle East. Don't miss out on this place if you're ever walking around the meadows!

I was thrilled to see that a new vegan restaurant had opened in the same location as the Beetroot Cafe. I tried the falafel wrap, which comes with a student discount, and I was immediately hooked! I went back for another wrap that same day and continued to visit almost daily to fuel my studying in the library. The falafels are perfect, but it's the amazing salad, pickled chillies, tahini dressing, hummus, and the wrap itself that make it so delicious. This is definitely the best falafel in Edinburgh, and perhaps the best I've ever tried. I can't wait to return to Edinburgh in September for another one! The owner is incredibly kind, and overall, I highly recommend checking out this charming place.

I visited this restaurant during the Meadows Festival, it is the third business in a row at the police box. I hope it can be as successful as the previous two. I ordered a falafel wrap which was simple but full of flavor. The owner made a child-friendly version for my kid and a spicy one for me. Both were excellent.
