Closed: #fish Haymarket - Edinburgh

Couldn't believe a chippy had a vegan menu, can't walk past with nipping in to try something.

I am regular at this restaurant. I am always amazed by the growing amount of options. My favourite is the Tofish and chips, followed closely by the vegan Battered Sausage. There is always a vegan option on the specials board. Gluten Free options are available too.

We ordered via website and picked it up from the shop. It came very handy during the lockdown. Interesting options like crab cakes or calamari (all vegan of course).

Went for ten black pudding supper which was okay. I do like the bury black pudding. Enough salt to allow a move to Glasgow. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-10

The ordered vegan fish consists of two blocks tofu marinated and fried. I found her delicious and it was also great that she had vegan sauce options. It was very nice to enjoy a chippy. I would just suggest bringing the chocolate into a refrigerator because inside is very hot and therefore some people complain about the chocolate.
