Chop House Leith - Edinburgh

I was very pleased with eating at Chop House Leith, im definitely coming back . The 4* for the venue is because the table we sat opposite the bar at the entrance was a bit small.

Steak was of very poor quality (all of the party left inedible meat (sinew). Steak lacked seasoning and flavour. Despite being medium rare was very difficult to cut due to poor quality of meat. Sides/wine/cocktails were very good, just the main event the steak that was an issue. When asked for feedback on our meal the manager took on board comments, spoke with the chef and said he would speak to the supplier. He took £62 off the food bill, this didn’t cover the cost of the steaks would have been better to have deducted the cost of the steak on this occasion I think.

The first time here and eating and service was great. more beautiful place to eat. would definitely go back.

The rib is favorable for a well cooked, high quality cut. chips, error-free. weeping list, small and perfectly shaped. historic leith, the all-round worth.
