All One George Street Edinburgh

The food was delicious, but the wait for it was unacceptable. Our booking was from 5:45pm to 7pm as we had a show that evening. We ordered as soon as we sat down but had to wait an hour for the food to arrive. We had to seek out waitstaff to ask when the food would be arriving as nobody warned us that there would be a delay or that the kitchen was busy. If we had known, we could have adjusted our orders or gone elsewhere. As a result, we had 10 minutes to quickly eat two tapas plates and two mains which we had already paid for, having ordered online. Considering the price of the food £50 total) we are very disappointed with the service we received and can't say we'd recommend All Bar One unless people are prepared to wait an hour for tapas.

Seated and waited 40 mins before we were told it was order though a qr code. Turned out to be an app, which didn't work. Toilets were a state and had no toilet paper. Someone finally came over after being rude saying to use the app, then rushed us to order because they wanted to close the kitchen early, (this waiter finished his shift shortly after which I assume is why he didn't care at all) Half the food wasn't available... We ordered and it took quite a while to arrive. One of our water glasses was cracked so much it would have definitely cut a lip if it wasn't noticed. Food was below average. Burgers came without buns just with bread and they didn't even tell us (we would have changed our order if they did) and the meat burger was so over cooked my friend couldn't eat it. Saving grace was the ONE nice employee, didn't get his name but a bald guy who we assume was working in the kitchen before, came to clear out plates and was the first person to ask how we were and to be friendly.. he gave us 25% off for all our trouble, and free shots which we were thankful for an employee hoping to emprove our experience. But we definitely wouldn't return. :

I came for the boozy brunch as part of α group of 8. We were very welcome and the staff was helpful and friendly. Our brunch came in good time amd all yastes amazing. It was good to have α selection of breakfast items and α few lunches on this menu. We chose the cocktails as part of the deal that they were fantastic. We stayed for more cocktails after the menu was great, we wanted to try more. I would recommend eating here because everything was great from servive to quality of food and drinks.

Cool place for tennets and fish and chips. Probably not the cheapest but very crispy, good frits and had garlic bread. Location is clean, food tastes beautiful, tiny little loud music, but back to my roots after a long time away from Edinburgh. Can recommend the fish and chips.

It is a good example of All Bar One best. We visited two days in a row during our stay in Edinburgh. We received exquisite customer service, the breakfast was excellent both days. Well-run restaurant round. All employees went beyond and beyond to make us welcome and meet all our needs. Very recommend this fine decor. Thanks for Jonathan and Angéla. We will definitely return to our next visit to Edinburgh!
