I had made a reservation for a Sunday roast at this restaurant after checking out the menu and noticing there was a vegetarian option available. Upon our arrival, we encountered chaos as there was nobody present to lead us to our table, forcing us to look for someone to assist us. The service was subpar and we were informed that there was no roast cauliflower dish available, with no alternative vegetarian option offered, which was disappointing. The server appeared visibly overwhelmed, leading her to be quite rude to several customers in the restaurant, including us. The food, when it eventually arrived, was tasty, but we had to request the bill three times before receiving it. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. It was evident that the staff was poorly managed and untrained, leading to difficulties serving customers on a busy day. While a lack of staff is not an excuse for rude service, it definitely contributed to the overall inefficiency. I will not be returning and would advise others to do the same.

I am extremely pleased with both the restaurant and pub. They are both exceptional. The beer selection is fantastic and the food surpasses typical hotel fare.

Food was lovely but the service was very slow front of house this has happened several times , ordered a bottle of Prosecco took just under an hour to come .same thing happened Mother’s Day food came but the drinks which was orange juice only came after we finished the meal. Very disappointing live local .

Its a nice setting in a pleasant bright room . However the staff came across as either very inexperienced or just disinterested . When giving the order the waiting person was vague and didn't want to be there . The white wine arrived at room temperature and was returned to their surprise which was a surprise ! No apologies . My roast beef was warm and I prefer hot food but it was tasty enough . Others who ordered chicken were very happy I must add . The deserts for the price although nice were some of smallest I have seen . Perhaps I just ordered the wrong food ?
