Thai Pad - Edinburgh, City of

The maitre d was efficient in service, but he was not welcome or in any wise reaction. we have politely asked the devastators to be illuminated what he did, but did not speak again. the atmosphere and the ambiente, including the Farn input was strange. a shame because eating in the did is very good. could order a takeaway, but the actual restaurant could not recommend.

Though quiet for a Friday night, this suited us as we'd just arrived from London and wanted a nice chilled dinner near our hotel. Took some time to find, but we very impressed with the food and service. Had a lovely dinner and we weren't rushed despite even though we were the only ones in the restaurant for the last hour. Offered us dessert despite it being past closing time. Wish it was more local to us, a big thumbs up!

I had booked in sufficient time to get a phone call on December 30th at 10.00 to inform that the restaurant was closed on December 31st and that they did not know how to book online. extremely dissapointing as it was a special occasion because it was my partner birthday and spoiled our hogmania. it is as shameful as I have been there many times earlier and had always taken out of the restaurant, although I fear to say that I will not go back, as never even got a policy.

Staying overnight in the hotel20, I decided to book a table in the thai pad to serve the convenience. my friends and I went to the theater, so booked for a theater meal. we were first in the restaurant, so that eating all was made fresh. young, it was worth waiting! all 3 of us had different dishes and everyone was great. we had 2 courses each and had 3 extra courts to share. together with this we had a bottle of wine and the total bill came to £54 absolutely incredible. I would say if they were in edinburgh, they go to this restaurant. they will not be disappointed. they might have to look for a bit to find it, but worth the search.

We chose the thai pad based on reviews we had read, and we were not disappointed that eating was exceptionally good and very favorable. you have to go down to get it, but not be put down, we'll be worth it.
