Karen's Unicorn - Edinburgh, City of

This Cantonese/Chinese restaurant is absolutely delicious. After my first visit, it has quickly become one of my favorites. The food was fresh and you could tell by the quality of the meat. I particularly loved that the crispy chicken remained crispy even in sauce. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is attentive. It is quite popular, so arriving at the opening allowed us to snag a table as most were already reserved. It's no surprise that this restaurant is rated among the best. I left feeling full and satisfied, without that bloated or queasy feeling that some places can leave you with.

The meal we had was fantastic. We tried the small starter, crispy beef with Peking sauce, chicken in black bean sauce, thin noodles, and fried rice. Everything was delicious. The staff was also excellent - very friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Edinburgh.

This restaurant is bustling with activity, with tables filling up quickly. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes, and the bread basket was refilled promptly. As someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find plenty of options to choose from on the menu. I will definitely be returning.

Only had a nice meal here, my man (for whom the Chinese food is not his first choice) was very impressed and says we will return in the did high lob! for me it was excellent as it had gluten-free/dairy free options on a separate menu. plus gluten-free soy sauce. I'm looking forward to the return.

Visit was last minute and we had last table on a Sunday evening so can tell this place is popular. Small and intimate with good attentive staff but not overbearing. Very good food and one of the best I have had. And good value
