This was the worst takeout curry I've had in a while and it was very expensive for the quality of the food we got. On top of that, we were charged 60p for two carrier bags and a 50p service fee. The popadoms were also not included. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Slateford Carry Out has overcharged me. I ordered 2 meals with rice and naan, popadoms, and dips. The meal and delivery time were fine, but when I asked the delivery driver how much I owed, he said £46 (plus a few pence). I thought this seemed high but paid it. Later, I received a text notification to pay the bill online, and the full amount was actually £36. This will be my first and last time using this establishment. I usually tip drivers and use takeaways regularly, but this experience has left me disappointed. The curry was good, but not as great as the food from the previous establishment Jashans. I will be looking for a new place to order from. I plan to call them to address the overcharge. Always ask for the total when placing an order and check the receipt when the driver arrives. I did not do this and will make sure to in the future.

This restaurant is horrible. The waitresses are dressed in tacky Halloween police outfits and wear earpieces even though the restaurant is small. The staff have bad attitudes. During my visit with my family, the waitress taking our order was rude and impatient. The food took a long time to arrive and was below average quality. We had to eat on starter plates because dinner plates were not provided. The manager offered baseless apologies and failed to address our concerns. We were charged a 10% service fee, which we refused to pay due to the poor experience. The waitress then told us to only pay for the food. The manager initially promised to remove the service charge and provide a discount, but later reneged on his offer. Overall, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was terrible, the waitresses unprofessional, and the management incompetent. I will make sure to warn everyone I know about the awful experience at this restaurant.

Best curry we have all had! Staff were lovely! Very authentic and good value. Alcoholic drinks are not served but you can bring your own with no corkage fee. We will certainly return.
