Contini Centotre - Edinburgh, City of

My wife and I had a delicious and beautifully served lunch at the Contini Restaurant at the Scotish National Museum. Contini George Street was even better. Their imaginative handling of classic Italian dishes brings out the expected signature of the plate, but adds greater depth and nuance. If you love great Italian cuisine, I cannot think of a better restaurant in the British islands.

Amazing food and service where we blow away and do not want to return in the future.

We were with friends from San Diego who had seen Contini Koch on TV and asked that we book their restaurant on George Street. Drinks, food, service and ambience could not impress and Victor himself asked if we enjoyed our meal. Our friends were thrilled to meet him personally! He was so inviting that he wasn't a better evening. We enjoyed it so much that the same amount of the sister restaurant at the Royal Mile on Saturday. Can't wait...
