Badabing - Edinburgh, City of

I wasn't expecting much when I made the reservation, but I was pleasantly surprised. The steaks were beautifully cooked on a sizzling hot lava stone. The atmosphere was great with live music. I will definitely be returning for more!

Badabing was gracious enough to host our large gathering at the Scran Salon in September 2015, not long after they first opened. It was a delightful evening where we got a glimpse of their Italian Gangster menu. I particularly remember the delicious pizza. I decided to revisit the restaurant to give it a proper review now that it has had time to establish itself.

I spontaneously decided to go to Badabing for dinner after seeing it on the Zomato app. The food was average and not too exciting, with typical American options like burgers and hot dogs, as well as a few Italian dishes. I ordered mozzarella sticks and the chicken burger, which came out quickly. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the live band was fantastic. It seems like a great spot to unwind and enjoy some cocktails.

Tucked away by the canal, Badabing is a gem. Lovely decoration, great and filling food and very good cocktails. Its quirky decoration makes it a really perfect spot for dinner any day of the week... And also great for drinks after work. Gotta love the lights that look like bowler hats over the heads of some italian actors painted on the walls on the top level.
