Al Borgo , Juniper Green, Edinburgh

We decided to eat at the last minute and didn't disappoint us. Inners were haggis balls, delicious. My partner had lobsters. The main dishes had baked salmon, absolutely sensational, my partner had veal that enjoyed a lot. I must add that this restaurant makes you feel welcome, Sylvia is very friendly, recommends the best wines, etc.

We went for a dinner while we were in the area. It is easy to find on the Lanark road, but there is limited parking outside.A friendly and personal waiting owner.The food and drinks arrived quickly and the main dish was delicious, like desserts.The price was reasonable.We would return if we were in that area again.

The food in Al Borgo is magnificent, even our children for their meals, wolfed that says something! We had pasta, pizza, and salmon, and we all loved the food.Al Borgo is one of those places where the owners are in the first name with their customers, and it is assured that everyone is having a great time. They were phenomenal with our children.The restaurant's atmosphere is warm, welcoming and cheerful.We had been in Italy a week before, and the Borgo was as authentic as any restaurant we visited in Venice.

Started with Bruschetta it was very dry needed more garlic oil the veal schnitzel would have been good if the bread crumb coating had been crisp mines was soggy. Both of us found it quite disappointing.
