What happen to the noodles?? I opened the bag of noodles and the smell was so BAD. It smelled like some chemical. Did not tast good. These noodles used to be the best. Now they are so bad. they need to fix the problem. bad bad bad

Have loved these noodles in the past- but two new boxes-both had a horrible smell and taste. Hope the problem wherever it's coming from is fixed soon.

Have purchased this brand of Chow Mein Mix for years. I recently purchased two boxes (one box in July and one box in August) The noodles in both boxes smell and taste awful. There is a chemical taste and smell that can be detected as soon as the bag is opened. I'm not sure what has been done to these noodles recently but until I speak with someone at the factory who can give me some kind of answer I will not be purchasing these again. It's really too bad because this product was a favorite of my family.

In Aug. purchased two box of Hoo Mee mix both boxes noodles had slight off odor (thought they might be stale) tasted a noodle and it tasted very foul and burned like peroxide in my mouth, sensation lasted for hours after opening both boxes and having them open, the smell became very strong and made my eyes water have reported to FDA for investigation used this product successfully years ago, will never buy again.

Recently purchased box of fried noodles tasted rancid. The box does NOT have an expiration date on it. I threw out the other box I had in the pantry. Also, in this day and age, there should be NO trans fats in this product. I have always bought this brand (I grew up on it), but I now feel I must try another brand which marks x-dates and has no trans fats.
