Moka Sushi - Edgecliff

This restaurant is fantastic. The sushi and bento boxes are the top choices, especially when paired with an Asahi beer. If you're looking for great sushi in Edgecliff, this is the place to go. However, I would recommend avoiding their noodles.

This is probably the best value takeaway sushi I have come across so far. My avocado salmon sushi lunch box costs only $5.5 and comes with 8 large pieces. So are teriyaki chicken, tuna or katsu chicken, all priced at $5.5 for 8 pieces. The most expensive option is $8.8 for raw or grilled salmon with Japanese mayo. In addition there are complimentary soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, mayonnaise that you can help yourself with next to the cashier. <br/ <br/ The reasonable price is not the only good thing about this place, the sushi tastes good too. Admittedly it's not the finest salmon I have never had but they are still reasonably tasty and the portion is very generous. <br/ <br/ I was in a rush so didn't eat in the restaurant; but will definitely check out their eat in menu.

Great value for takeaway. I came here as subway next door was busy and I couldn't be bothered waiting around. I had a look at their display and thought their dons were good value at $6.50 so got the spicy chicken to takeaway for my husband and I. I wasn't expecting much but was surprised at how tender the meat was and the flavour of the sauce. While I was full, my husband said he could definitely have another bowl. Still, I thought it was a good value lunch and I'll be back to try their other dons.

Quick Tasty. Very friendly and prompt service for a dine-in meal in a relaxed environment. The food was great with a nice balance between presentation, quality and quantity. Could now become a favorite stop on the way home from a late stint at the office !!

Great lunch specials. The lunch specials here are a steal for the quality of food. We had an excellent cut of salmon sashimi, and my Katsu Don was beautiful the chicken was adequately tender, the egg portions generous and the onions sufficiently distributed. Will definitely be back.
