Captain's Tavern - ecrest

Went to the Capt's Tavern and ordered food to go. The service was awesome because the food was ready when I arrived. The staff was very cordial. The food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order from the Captain's Tavern again.

What a waste of $100. My husband came home with seafood from here and I was excited to try someplace new. So disappointing. This place is down the street and somehow the food still got here cold. The Thai Snapper was full of spines and the shrimp with vegetables tasted like dirty dish water. The lobster bisque was greasy and tasteless. I’m not sure how this restaurant was full considering the quality of the food when you can get better seafood anywhere else.

Tough to beat the value and quality of the fish and seafood here. Always a great experience. The food is always delicious and a delight to the palate, plus served nice n hot. Chefs are geniuses! Even the Raspberry Vinegarette salad dressing is to die for (and I'm not a salad person. Could benefit from audible background music to complement the dining experience.Add to this a rustic throwback warm atmosphere which is always enjoyable as are the servers who are always attentive, upbeat, and knowledgeable. Wines are value priced too!Harkens back to top seafood restaurants of yesteryear with a modern, well thought out and varied menu. We're regulars. Place is always busy yet wait times are minimal. Love the decor and fish tanks! Highly recommend!

Great seafood and service was excellent, just don't know how to do steaks. I know seafood restaurant but one in party allergic Hensel the steak.Well worth the visit.Parking: In a strip mall with plenty of parking.

Amazing food and service. Nostalgic hasn't changed in decades but still awesome!
