10x’s Better Soul Food Carryout

I was recommended this restaurant due to its excellent reviews, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The mac and cheese noodles were overcooked, the meatloaf lacked flavor, and the collard greens weren't chopped finely (which is what I prefer) and didn’t have much taste. Given the prices, I expected much higher quality food; I almost feel like I should share my own recipes or consider opening my own place! Since this is primarily a takeout restaurant, the atmosphere rating doesn't really apply, but it did look clean inside, which is a plus. On a positive note, the customer service was very nice.

The food was decent. I really enjoyed the banana pudding, dressing, and cornbread. The smothered pork chops and macaroni and cheese were okay, but the banana pudding was definitely the highlight of my meal. I might try something different next time, or I may just return for the banana pudding. Food rating: 3/5.

The staff was rude and had terrible attitudes. I ordered fried pork chops, smothered pork chops, and fried catfish, but I never received my catfish. When I called to inquire about it, I was hung up on before I could even ask for my food or a refund. This was completely rude, and I will never order from here again.

Worst black owned establishment in the city of East point. Over priced food nasty asf manager won’t even come to window so I can speak with him. Spend your money where you are treated as a paying customer. Jus rude to not even come to see what the issue was. If I could give them zero that’s exactly what they deserve. Canned green beans served like they were freshly picked. Macaroni disgusting smothered pork chops with Heinz brown gravy out the jar.?? I will be letting everyone I know do not support this dump in Eastpoint and Clinton Twp. To spend their money elsewhere. Support cornbread in Southfield BLK owed and Lillie maes Southfield great soul food restaurants.respectful with manners including the staff and management.

It was very clean the food was nothing like the name sake. But it was ok my daughter said the banana pudding was the best thing she got.Food: 4/5
