Bidrage med feedbackI chose to celebrate my birthday at El Dorado, indulging in their delicious premium guacamole and stuffed poblano peppers, and I wasn't disappointed! I can't wait to return. They even sang happy birthday to me, which was such a delightful surprise!
When the bill arrived, I was surprised to see a charge of $13.95 for the taco salad and an additional $4.95 for the beans and rice. That brought my total to $19 for a disappointing taco salad. I also noticed that all their prices have risen significantly while both the portion sizes and quality have decreased. This will definitely be my last visit.
This charming little restaurant offers both indoor and patio seating. I tried the tacos, and they were excellent and authentically made. The waitstaff were outstanding, attentive to our needs without being intrusive. I will definitely return to eat here again!
This is a great place if you come for the margaritas and stay for their outdoor patio. Maybe get a buzz on and enjoy some snacks. Service staff is friendly and attentive, despite being green. However, this is not the best place for a family to visit and it is not the best place for delicious food. The food is ok mostly one note and somewhat over salted. The indoor atmosphere feels like a cross between a cafeteria and somebody's basement bar. It's definitely worth a visit, just be sure to keep it casual and have a couple drinks while you're there that should make everything better.
I have been to both locations of this restaurants. Both experiences were fairly ridiculous. In the original small location, we were there and it was not crowded. I ordered a beer. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. No beer. It 's like everyone disappeared in this tiny place. I actually went up and SERVED MYSELF the beer and told them I got it. They were like, whatever...less work for us. Got the tacos which were nothing spectacular. Can do a much better version of carnitas at home then they serve here. Maybe I should have gone into the kitchen and cooked it myself. When their second location opened, I thought maybe this was just a bad experience, and I 'd give it a try again. Again, order a beer with the meal. Dogfish 60 min IPA. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. Hey, they brought the beer themselves in under 15 minutes this time. But, the beer is very light in color. I tell the waitress immediately that I 'm sure this is the wrong beer. She says, No, dogfish . I take a sip, definitely Corona or a Mexican lager. Worlds apart. Tell her it 's the wrong beer. She takes it away. 5 more minutes. 10 more minutes. Finally I go up to the owner/manager and ask where my Dogfish beer is, and he says we gave you Dogfish. I tell him there 's no way, it is the wrong beer and that he needs to check his taps. He says, no I 'm not doing that, you got Dogfish. We left without waiting for food because if they don 't care about their customers face to face, imagine what they 're doing with the food behind closed doors. I have a few acquaintances who work at the local beer distributors and told them this story and they said there had been a major mixup with their taps, yet they refused to admit it to customers. Not going back again. When your menu consists of a few limited ingredients mixed up or presented in different ways, you 're really going for service and a nice place to go out, but the service is so horrible here, you feel like you 've intruded into someone 's house who didn 't expect you or want you there in the first place.
