Boondocks Dining Room & Lounge

Boondocks has a mainly fish/seafood menu, although they also have hamburgers. We ordered a bit of everything in our party (including kids' menus), and everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. Those who had fish & chips found it very good, albeit very greasy. The hamburger (or, to be precise, BBQ bacon cheeseburger) was also very good, although also far from low-fat...Service was efficient and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. All in all, a good place to stop for lunch when you're in the area.

Сугубо мое мнение - самый лучший парк в HRM (Halifax region).

This is a gem of a restaurant - great food, generous potions & lovely view from the patio. My favourite is the fish cakes with molasses beans.

Came for lunch on a Tuesday and sat on the patio. Jasmine, our efficient and attentive server, helped us navigate the gluten free options. Ordered the blackened haddock with mashed potatoes, veggies and side salad. Fish was seasoned perfectly and the ample portions provided for a filling meal. The fish tacos (3 piece) were fantastic. The breeding was light allowing the flavor of the fish to sing. The fish were allowed to be the star without competition from the sauce or vegetables in the taco. The French fries were good, could be crispier, but that is my personal taste. Overall a good meal with excellent service at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the trip.
