Gigante - Eastchester

Third time back in weeks and still one of my new favorite restaurants. Thursday night is DJ night so noise level is higher than the other times I was here but still a great time. Food still yummy.

Ambience excellent, staff very good, prices reasonable. Overall very enjoyable.

Great restaurant! We loved it so much we are throwing a birthday party there in September. Try the short rib you will not be disappointed!

The food was horrible. My boyfriend and I ordered beef tacos and the beef was chewy and fatty. The calamari was chewy and tasted almost like it wasn’t breaded correctly. The chicken Milanese was hard and the chicken was stringy. The lettuce was just thrown on top of the chicken. It didn’t look presentable. I eventually ordered the Margherita pizza which wasn’t bad but definitely better than the other things we had ordered. The food came out fast which is probably why it wasn’t good. I much have rather waited long for quality food. However, the service was nice. Everyone was pleasant and it is a great ambiance but the food did not match. I personally would not recommend this place.

The restaurant is beautiful and it’s a pleasure to be in. However, the food was not extraordinary, it was good but not awesome. I was hoping the dessert menu would be intriguing but it wasn’t. I ambiance was lively and a nice place to spend the evening. The food is good but somehow doesn’t measure up to the beautiful appearance of the restaurant.
