The Village Fish Chips - Eastbourne

This is REAL English fish 'n ' chips at its finest. Batter is light, service is good, restaurant is clean and well-located for parking/walking. Delicious, fresh fish. We 'll be back!

First we had the fake French greeting... A simple order of saveloys and chips took forever to serve and when they did arrive the chips were greasy and didn't taste right. The microwaved saveloys were tasteless. Very disappointing all round Best avoided IMHO

Just had takeaway fish and chips, absolutely delicious, fish lovely, batter light and crisp, chips great. Lovely customer service. Thank you, will be back again.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Wish they had one in brighton. The batter was so light and crispy and the haddock was white and fresh. Chips were amazing too. Well worth a visit.

Visited The Village Fish and Chips for the first time last night during the eastbourne bonfire procession. Ordered a large cod and chips which came to about £6.20 I think. Totally worth it. The fish was lovely and fresh, tasty and moist, not over cooked. The batter was tasty and crisp!! The chips were really good too. Good portions too!!! I recommend this place. YUM!!!
