The Mirabelle Restaurant - Eastbourne

The restaurant has a wonderful and friendly staff who are very professional. The atmosphere is classic and inviting.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with a great variety of dishes. The service is top-notch, with attentive and professional waitstaff who are also very well-dressed. The dining room is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The main maintenance is professional and everything is organized and under control. Overall, it was a relaxing, calm, and soothing dining experience.

My partner and I treated my mother for Sunday dinner on his birthday. We had a nice time. My mother's food request was delicious. The ambience and service both upper notch. The Rolls Royce of traditional Sunday dinners!

The setting is traditionally beautiful, the service was good, but the food... it really was terrible. Menu seemed to be 20 years out of date, boasting local produce (fresh asparagus in November?! . The main course was horrendous, cold vegetables (on cold plates , a fillet steak that could not be cut even with a steak knife (I had to leave 3/4 of it as it was inedible and a lasting taste of weird truffle pate that lingered for the rest of the evening. Not wanting to make a fuss in front of a room full of diners, I discreetly asked one of the waiting staff to advise the chef that the steak was too chewy to eat. I don’t think she let the chef know as my comment was not followed up. We paid our bill and left without daring to sample dessert! Such a massive disappointment (and a pricey one for inedible food .
