01 Adana Bbq And Meze - Eastbourne

Had an incredible meal at this lovely friendly, family run restaurant. Great selection of meze and freshly baked bread followed by some superb bbq'd lamb and chicken. Atmosphere and service both faultless. Baklava and ice cream for dessert was delicious too, despite us thinking we were too full to eat any more.

We had a very positive experience on a busy Saturday night at this restaurant. Despite it being full with about 40 seats, the service was efficient and the food arrived promptly. The highlight here is definitely the food. We tried three different dishes, all of which were well cooked, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. The portions were generous with plenty of food on each plate. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary bread with olives to start, as well as a mini-Turkish pizza served every evening. For dessert, we enjoyed typical Turkish sweets that were rich in syrup and excellently made. The baklava was one of the best we've ever had. The prices were reasonable for what we ordered, coming in just under £28 per person. Keep in mind that the prices could increase significantly with alcohol. The owners were friendly and allowed us to enjoy our meal without being overly intrusive. Reservations are a must at this popular spot - we noticed three different couples being turned away due to lack of booking. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious food, affordability, a lovely atmosphere, and great service. Highly recommended.

We could not recommend this restaurant enough. we had the most amazing dinner here, a few months ago. my and my partner were treated like a royal treatment, and that should die, and when the bill came, we had a very nice surprise: it was much cheaper than we expected. we would only travel from london to eastbourne to eat in this restaurant.

We had a fantastic party at this restaurant once again. It was my wife's birthday and we booked a table for 18 people. The restaurant was very accommodating as always. We arrived early in the afternoon to decorate for the party. We had a family gathering from Turkey and this restaurant was the perfect place to celebrate. The food was delicious, from the mezze appetizers to the juicy grilled meat dishes. The lamb was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, and the kofta was amazingly spiced. We enjoyed bread and salad with our meal, along with Turkish red wine and Efes lager. Everyone was pleased with the fantastic meal, great service, and friendly atmosphere of this family-owned restaurant. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be returning soon.

Great place! the staff was very nice and helpful and the food was freshly prepared before us. very nice experience when I return to eastbourne to any case!
