Kesar's An Indian Thali - East Windsor

I visited the restaurant on a Monday when it wasn't very crowded. We ordered the Amritsari Thali, Punjabi Thali, Mango Lassi, Gobi 65, and kids' noodles. The Amritsari Thali was fantastic, especially the paneer naan, which was soft and generously stuffed. My favorite part of the Punjabi Thali was the palak saag. The mango lassi had a wonderful flavor, and while the Gobi 65 could have been spicier, it was still enjoyable. The portion of kids' noodles was a bit too large for my son, but he really liked them. The service was quick, and our server was very gracious. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant, so we decided to try the Punjabi Thali and Kathiawadi Thali. The taste was just average, and the rotis were quite disappointing. We also tried the pani puri, but it didn’t impress us either. Overall, I don’t think I'll be returning. Food rating: 3/5.

The service was very disappointing, and the server was quite rude. He used inappropriate language in front of families and children. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food wasn't great either.
