I love Nando's food! I always enjoy trying new dishes from the menu and have been pleased with most of the options available so far. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the owner is always welcoming and helpful. Keep up the great work, Nando's team!
My rating is 0 stars. I'm currently in the Nandos business in Toowoomba to eat my meal. I see the customer service I just got from the owner. I asked for a whole chicken meal with two pages. I cost rice and coke as my sides. I was met with a very furious hand guarding man who says that I can only have these pages, as he can on the pages on a list. I asked him to settle. I said I thought it contained drinks and I thought I had done this in the past and apologized. He then raised his voice to me again and said his drinks never contained. I was so angry that I came out and never said a word. I sat in the car for 5 minutes and calmed me and thought I could also use my reward points as this will be my last visit to Nandos in Toowoomba. So I went back and politely asked him to check my reward points. He said no. He refused to say he can't, I have to go online. He said his nithing to do with him, his Nandos! I then ordered the meal and was told I had no or enough, I couldn't understand his drum. Then I went on anyway when my wife was very hungry and it was raining. While I paid, I asked if he was the owner, he said yes. I asked for his name, he said Paul or Peter. I was so angry that I couldn't remember. When the server (other person) brought our meal, I asked him the owner name only to ensure, and then server said the owner name is Cameron. He lied to me. This is only the second time in 20 years I have ever complained in a restaurant. While she told my wife the last time she was here, he was very rude to her when she asked about sauce. He walked through the restaurant and picked him up from a table that had people on it. Terrible service, I wish I knew that before. You should not ask your customers other customers for sauce. When I wrote this review, I have seen all the other negative reviews ever since and can say according to my experience and kamron 's lack of customer service I will not return to this business.
Okay, so the food was fine, something dear, not overly concerned. What made me write was the raised voice from the kitchen. You're not a Michelin Star cook, and even Gordon Ramsey would be nicer. Goodbye.
Although the food was ok and what I would expect from Nandos, my real culinary experience was not great. It wasn't busy. A good pace. Looks like the older man, my guess would be a owner, tried to train a new...staff member badly. Why a new member put on a Friday night shift when I try to teach has confused me. He constantly raised his voice, captivated the young man when he asked questions, rolled his eyes. Honestly, the boy tried. He only looked confused by the instructions, and from what I heard they were terrible instructions anyway. I don't think he looked older than 14. As a customer, I was just uncomfortable and angry. I wanted to ask the boy if he wanted me to call someone for him because I felt he was upset even though I stopped. I still feel like me. Terrible man. I think he needs management training or something.
