Dum Mast - East Tamaki New Zealand

I had a dinner at dum mast with my wife on Monday night . Chicken tikka dum mast as an entree was just delicious . Very fast service by front staff and the guy in white shirt took my order for the mains he was very supportive and polite . Mains was really yummy with reasonable price. A dinner with my wife at Dum Mast which is somewhat shielded from the Z station. We were quickly served a complimentary basket of poppadoms. We had the specials of the day lemon honey chicken lamb masala, with butter naan.  The lamb was tender palatable, while the chicken was a wee too sweet (to me). Anyway, it was a good dinner. (Food 3.5/5; Service 3.5/5; Ambience 3.5/5)

As regulars, this place never disappoints. The service is exceptional and the food is second to none. Lovely thick curries, as spicy as you want them, and not oily or stodgy at all. Highly recommend the lamb saagwala. Best local Indian Restaurant try it if you haven't already!

Have been trying to find an Indian food place I like in Auckland and I think I have found here. Ordered a takeaway here had the lentil veggie dish, chicken tikka massala, plain and peshwari naan and poppadoms. Perfect spice level, delicious, flavourful food, generous portions. The poppadoms are it into bite size and are incredible!! The chutney is great too. Really impressed with the service when I collected too really warm and friendly, hope to dine in soon!
