Absolutely horrible. They forgot to take their dough out of the oven so we had to wait 1.5 hours while it thawed. We got this to cheery brother up a bit after his cat passed away. His pizza was so burned that it was disintegrating as we picked it up. We called the restaurant and the express manager that got in the phone was incredibly rude. He was nasty to us because his staff burned our pizza and can 't defrost their dough. Also, the pizza wasn 't even good. I 'd rather have Graziella 's any day. The Hawaiian pizza had big hunks of ham that were turning my stomach. The pizza itself just didn 't taste good. I ate one slice, put my other slice back in the box, and ate something else to get the taste of the pizza out of my mouth. It was disgusting. We will NEVER go here again. I wish I could give it 0 stars. Edit: my mum left them a bad review on Facebook and the express manager responded by saying that he looked up all her stuff on Facebook and she 's nasty. She literally shared videos of puppies. She was so creeped out that she blocked amari on Facebook. He has to be the WORST manager I have ever come across.
Food is absolutely delicious!!! Just as good, if not better, than the North End. The service is great too!! My new favorite restaurant
My husband went to Amari’s on 1/14/23 to order and pick up 4 pizzas. He was gone for 45 minutes and called to say that it would take another half hour because all the pizza dough was frozen. About 40 minutes later he walked in with no food and said it would be another hour. He went back an hour later and came back with the pizza. Two of them were completely burned. One of them was so burned that there were holes in the pizza!! They gave him some money back when he was there, but he gave a $20 tip. When we saw how burned the pizza was, I called the take out and asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened and told him Amari pizza and to watch a football game was my son’s request that night. This young man’s cat passed away the day before!!! We were trying to brighten his spirits just a bit. The man on the phone said to come back and he would refund the money. Not The Point. I said my husband would not be going back a third time and that I would post a review. He said- Oh, thank you for that and hung up!!!! Wow very poor customer service. No apology, just sarcasm. It sure didn’t help brighten up my son’s night!!! I have pics of the pizza.Today is 1/12/24 and I had to block the manager at this restaurant on fb because he was messaging me about how nasty I am. That he looked up everything I have posted and I am nasty. I will never go back there again. There are reviews for a reason. So that other people know if you had a good or bad experience. Not so that the staff can try to intimidate you if you leave a bad review.
