Smokey D's Bbq Fish - East Saint Louis

This restaurant should be shut down. They do not answer the phone and close whenever they want. There is a severe lack of professionalism here.

This is one of the worst places I have ever visited. The woman at the front counter took more than thirty minutes to serve me my food, both times I went there. They don't even start preparing pre-ordered food until you arrive. The woman at the counter is one of the rudest and nastiest people I have ever encountered. She was seen angrily yelling at a customer while I was there. The customer left upset because of her rudeness, and she followed them outside yelling, saying they must not want their food. The service here is terrible with a horrible woman at the counter. The staff are definitely not friendly or professional. Rude, nasty, and slow service. Going to this place was a very upsetting experience. I had to post this under a different name because the woman was so terrible I didn't want her to know who I am or where I live. Overall, my visit here was a very unpleasant experience. The food was mediocre at best and overpriced for the quality.

I chose to dine here instead of Big Momma's, but it was a big mistake. The pulled pork was overcooked and overpriced. They were out of half of the items we wanted to order from the menu. I will not be returning.

The food at this restaurant is excellent for the price. I live in Florida, but whenever I'm in the area, I always make sure to get my barbecue from there. Keep up the good cooking!
