Ralph's - East Rutherford

Have been a LONG time customer of Ralphs from previous owner. New management is terrible!! Got my order wrong. I called to let them know and instead of taking responsibility, they BLAMED ME! When i asked about the prices, I find out they OVERCHARGED meby almost $10. And still no real explanation. The man was rude and impatient. But don?t worry they just lost a long time patron.

I ordered online and got a large Italian sub with oil and vinegar, and mayo on the side. Unfortunately, the bread was not toasted, and there was no oil, vinegar, or mayo included. The original owners would have never sent out a sandwich with so many mistakes. I do not recommend this place!

I was visiting from out of state and heard that Ralph's has the best pizza in New Jersey. I have to say, I now agree! I ordered a roast beef sandwich, which looked just as delicious as the picture online, and it was fantastic as well. I can’t wait to come back!

To top it off, he charged me $15.90 for the lasagna, which was listed on the menu for $12.90, and he didn’t even provide a receipt. While I was waiting for my order, a white customer came in to pick up his order, and suddenly the owner engaged in a conversation with him and offered him a free drink. This made me feel belittled, both because of my skin color and because I chose to speak his native language. It's a very unfortunate experience.

Every time I visit Carlstadt I always eat at Ralph?s. Sure the owner can be a little abrupt but it?s New Jersey. The penne vodka pasta is seriously some of the best I?ve ever had. Get it with sausage!
