Vanessa Delicatessen Cafe

Sat outside, to enjoy some rare sunshine. Service and food we're excellent. The Yorkshire platter was top quality (ham especially), and just the tight size to fill (and leave a little room for a cake).

Food was really nice ,cooked fresh and very tasty We regularly use it as a stop off in Beverley.Really enjoyed Vanessa's fishcakes and the children like the kids pizza .

DONT STOP WALK PAST. came here on sat 27/07/24 as we do most Saturdays but this Saturday I was with my wife and granddaughter as there was no one waiting we saw a couple leave a table so I sat down but was approached by a waitress asking me to move as there was two people waiting which there was not if they turned up as I sat down that's not my problem BUT been asked to give up my table was out of order we will not return or recommend this place to anyone at all we walked two minutes away and received amazing service just remember you cannot keep open without customers here is a regular you have lost.

This place is expensive to the extreme! I’d like Vanessa’s to explain why they think it’s ok to charge £3.50 for a takeaway scotch egg. Pure greed and “let’s see how far we can push this” springs to mind. We will not be visiting this greedy establishment again.

This is a lovely cafe that are able to supply a large selection of food. The staff are lovely, friendly a d have time to chat. We have never been disappointed the fish and chips are excellent. The only downside is the popularity of this cafe. Always book to avoid disappointment
