The cheese shop no cheese, very strange. personal friendly enough. eating and drinks were totally subdued and overpriced. sandwich described as with coleslaw, salat and we all have exactly 3 cramps, a bit of limp salad and a quarter of a...tomaten plus a spoon full of coleslaw, not good value

Popular with cyclists and in the village centre. we called for coffee and sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. a nice homemade Yorkshire food!

From howden minster, beautiful place to lunch. good choices especially. homemade cakes. personal very friendly efficient. looks like it's a popular place with locals.

We come with a safe caffe. excellent Kovid arrangements. personal so nice. chocolate cake the best of all time. many hearty objects and many sweet things. highly recommended. a must.

Visiting the beautiful village of Howden, we stopped for Breakfast at the oddly named Cheese Shop Cafe (no cheese in sight). As a lover of the Full English, I was disappointed in the socalled Yorkshire Breakfast. It tasted like it was cooked yesterday, Dried out...Sausage, Bacon, and the fried egg was hard and dried out. I assume it was cooked yesterday or at least kept warm for a long time. We won't be returning.
