Had lovely midweek lunch here with family, was very busy car park almost full. What a beautiful pub! Food was great, staff very friendly efficient. Highly recommend Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nicely laid out pub and always a good range of real ales properly looked after. Food quality disappointing for the prices. The main letdown is that staff never seem to make any effort to manage people waiting at the bar so very often the last person to walk in is served ahead of those that have been there a long time. It's been like this for years and attention here would transform the experience and encourage a lot of people I know to use this nice local more often.
