Bidrage med feedbackAs far as the location goes Ku De Ta is the bomb! It's right on the Swan river with lovely decking to enjoy in the summer. The restaurant is nice and cozy and the wait staff are very helpful. The menu is a bit unusual but no problem at all with the taste! Nice drinks selection too. Will definitely make a visit in the summer!
Heard a lot about Ku De Ta and thought I would try it out. Well, its quite swish and sophisticated in the Deck which adjoins the Swan river. I was disappointed with the view as the beams obstruct it due to low seating. Otherwise, would be a great atmosphere. The mocktails were great. I ordered the marinated Ortiz sardines, sourdough and pangratto ( Italian crumbed bread). This dish amazed me as when it was served the young waitress served it with an actual tin of sardine and the presentation was a 'block' of sardines. For $18 , I would have expected better, or had I not seen the actual sardine tin, I would have been the less worried. Very disappointed with that. Also ordered a lovely chopped salad , broccoli and almonds which was delicious and tasty.
We were a large group of about 20 people and has a selection of Tapas snacks. The food just kept coming and was excellent. Staff were very efficient and you didn't have to wait to order a drink etc .
We didn't stay to eat because in their more casual dining area, although large it only offered bar height tables or lounges, neither suing our mature age and our guests as well.We did linger a while at the Tapas dining area but decided to go more casual today although their menu looked quite good.Obviously the casual dining area is catering to the younger folks, so thats ok I know that now but will go back to try the Dining room tapas style on another day
Our daughters visited us from interstate and we thought it would be a good reason to visit the restaurant for the first time to see what it was like.We all loved the earthy atmosphere created with the use of wooden sleepers and thought it was a good place for lunch. The menu gives a reasonable choice of dishes, not too wide and very reasonable priced. Our table waiter suggested we order and share amongst us, which was a very good suggestion. We ordered the Wagyu beef, artichoke risotto, Fremantle octopus and Rainbow trout. We all felt the food was just enough, service was good and the waiter regularly filled our glasses. We still need to try it again for dinner but we were more than happy with the lunchtime visit.
