Hemingway's Wine Room - EAST MELBOURNE

I had a wonderful evening! I really enjoyed the champagne and oysters, and the half-price wine on Thursdays is fantastic. The wine list is excellent too.

A hidden gem on the outskirts of the city, the restaurant offers beautifully presented, delicious food and attentive, knowledgeable service. It's definitely a place worth returning to.

The food we were served was delightful, creative, and incredibly flavorful. The service was exceptional, contributing to a truly enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience.

The staff were exceptional. Excellent cocktails (the best mojito ever), a very good wine list, and divine food. This is an excellent restaurant. Highly recommended!

I used to go monhly before lock downs. On this first time back the steak premium price was overcooked. Embarassingly so, as this was a business dinner. Maybe they lost their chef over lock down. Starters, wine etc were still excellent. But I would check first and hold the line over steak it was one of the best in Melbourne. Hoping this was a once off.
