The DJ was spinning some great tunes all night, the back table is a giant light bright AND they have a Mrs. PacMan machine! Had a great time and look forward to my next visit!
If you look up the term quaint in a dictionary, you just might find a picture of this neighborhood bar. The Nest is a great place to meet some nice, unpretentious people, have fun drinks (offered in such cool ways as in a fish bowl and a yard long glass), watch the game and chill. The bar is decorated with such nostalgic adornments, too numerous to list and the logo is awesome; I'd watch a cartoon of these colorful birds if someone ever wanted to make one. Pleasant competent bartenders and a few nice good items if you're hungry. Come on down... Monday is karaoke with Annie. She's the second best host on the island!
Excellent selection of local beers. There was a beer tasting from a nearby craft brewery the night before I went. 90's paraphernalia everywhere, board games and trivia for customer use. Friendly vibe. There is a smell of stale beer. I think maybe the floors have to be mopped with more than water. The beer is good and there are bar snacks. I liked the pretzel and mustard. Would recommend.
Just experienced this place for the first time and my only complaint is that I haven't taken advantage of it sooner. This bar has an awesome beer selection (apparently expanding soon) with awesome atmosphere. The music was great and the owners are legitimately great people. Prices were very reasonable, and I plan on making this my regular water hole.
I've been in this neighborhood so many times and driven right past-I didn't know of the nest's existence until I came across it on yelp. I was very pleased with the discovery-really cute and unique place for some low key drinks and old school board games.
