The Windsor Castle Hotel

Travel from brisbane to sydney or melbourne and need to stay somewhere, they do one like and get off the car and go to maitland, not far from the car train as well. this place is so good. akkomodation was so beautiful and modern, very...reasonable in price too. bonus is the bar and restaurant plus tab. eating was so good and the staff was so friendly, especially a young man named josh. he could not do enough for us. would have stayed longer if the time was not a problem. great place very recomend.

Today for the first time in a few years we have lunch here. we ordered what we thought would be a nice meal from the special board of smiling in special jus at $30 (x2). we used an entertainment voucher waiting for our delicious food. we were served cheap crumble beds from the $15 midday menu, which is a disappointment! since we were not offered a quitting, we had no idea of the problem with the order until it arrived, there was no chance to talk to someone behind the theke, as the girl who commanded had a line that would last a mile long. a very disappointing visit that we will not have again.

We recently spent a night in the windsor castle hotel and also served in the hotel's restaurant. they have an excellent menu (mainly not like the standard Aussie staples, which they find in just about every restaurant in rural areas) very cheap. the personal is friendly and the service very good. Overall we enjoyed our meal and thought the hotel restaurant was one of the best we met on our road trip in the regional nsw. no delay, recommend it; his very popular among the natives who is not surprising.

The atmosphere was good, the staff was ok, but busy. eating was not wonderful in the variety, but they have quite great meals. clean a very popular place.

We came to have a dinner and one of the meals came out wrong. then got kicked out while playing pool just because there was a under 18 year old. we were there with a mate that has a kid older then him so more...the one responsible adults. we weren’t aloud back into the bistro or to finish the game of pool and were rushed out when saying goodbye to one another. we were told it was because the 16year old didnt have a parent there. although we were under the assumption that a “responsibility adult” isnt just a parent.
