Carlyle House Cafe - East Lothian

I stand by my previous remarks about this hidden treasure. The staff is welcoming, the menu is concise yet caters to a variety of preferences. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. We typically order a main course and then choose something from the bakery display. Overall, it's a fantastic option with top-notch cuisine.

We have visited this historic restaurant multiple times for lunch. The menu is unique and offers a variety of enticing main dishes. The food is well-presented and delicious, with a range of flavors to enjoy. Don't forget to check out the dessert options in the display area. The quality of the food here surpasses what you would typically find at a café.

Tucked away beside the library Carlyle House is a lovely historic building and serves up delicious lite bites, lunches and wonderful cakes pastries as well as superb coffee's. Well worth a visit

Carlyle cafe was not our first choice but we were very pleasantly surprised with our find ! Staff were very friendly and greeted us in a very professional manner. We enjoyed our coffee and cakes and hope to be back in the future for some scones !

I would give this small cafe a perfect score of 10/10. I visited last Saturday for a coffee and was impressed by the friendly staff, quick service, delicious coffee, and freshly baked scones. I couldn't find any faults with my experience.
