Not the best looking place and not the best food either. My wife and daughter had Chicken strips which they said were passable. My grandson and I decided to avoid the steak and play safe with burgers, big mistake. The burgers were really poor quality, grissly, over salted and burnt. The bun wasn’t much better, very small portions of coleslaw but the chips were ok. We went on the recommendation of others on the campsite, they must be easily pleased is all I can say. The only good point was the friendly staff.

Didn’t look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving! We had a cracking meal and drinks here ... the brisket cottage pie is awesome, the blue cheese macaroni was great too, in fact everything we ordered was good. And the service was great too, everyone was super friendly! P.s. ask about the discount card

One of the only pubs in the area that has a car park,,,! Called in on a sunny Thursday lunchtime. Pint of lager about £4 there are cheaper places) The pub has the usual multi screens showing rolling sport yawn) Outside the pub has a Bauhaus 1930 's design that I hoped would have been carried on inside. It wasn 't. The pub does the usual 'pub grub ' thought it looked a bit pricey, however as I didn 't try it, it may have been worth it. Bar staff friendly, clean and plenty of room.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Still very Covid secure. The staff are fantastic go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Best pub we have been to on Holiday this week and there's been a few.

Love all the different Gins they sell very friendly staff , Charlie is a very chatty person very welcoming
