Jubilee - East Lindsey

My partner and I were attracted by the entertainer outside. The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. The outdoor seating area was littered with trash on the tables and the floor. It didn't seem like a big problem, as it could have blown in. However, the male restroom was extremely dirty. I have attached a photo to prove that I am not exaggerating. It appeared as though it had not been cleaned in a while. Overall, it's not a terrible pub and I would consider going back for a drink if they improved their cleanliness standards.

The plates and vegetables were cold. The chicken and mushroom pie were decent, as was the filled Yorkshire. We had to request chips and a pot of tea as they were forgotten. The restaurant could use a deep clean and the staff should prevent their child from running around. After reading other reviews, we won't be returning. McDonald's may be cheap and cheerful, but it is definitely cleaner and better.

I went for lunch and ordered a Sirloin steak, but was served a different type of meat. I suspected it was cooked in the microwave. My partner ordered carbonara, but both dishes were so bad that we had to send them back. I will not be returning, even if it were free.

I would not go in this pub after seeing a little girl climbing all over the furniture while we was their having a drink and seeing cabaret.

We were visiting Skegness for the day and stopped here for a carvery. As we lined up for food someone had to shout for the chef to come which took a couple of minutes. While waiting it was hard to ignore the amount of flies hanging around the covered food. The chef finally appeared and uncovered the food. The meat looked well done and when I opted for pork, he couldn't even cut through the skin. He even said that the meat was overcooked so I changed my mind to Turkey. This turned out to be so dry it was inedible. While getting our food we were still having to contend with the flies which the chef was batting away from the carvery, the electric fly trap obviously not doing its job. We all attempted to eat some of the meal but soon gave up as the veg were tasteless too. We did complain and get our money back but I would recommend avoiding it like the plague.
