This pub claims to offer high-quality food and drinks, but unfortunately they were out of real ales and the roast beef was overcooked.

I reserved the private back room for a party of 18 to celebrate a special birthday on a Saturday night. We pre-selected our food and wine choices a week prior to the event. The evening turned out to be fantastic for all of us. The service was top-notch with no delays, and everyone received exactly what they had ordered. Special thanks to Rhiannon and Elsa for their outstanding service.

We made a reservation for a party of 10 for a special family dinner. The service was slow, but polite. It took two hours for our starters and mains to arrive. The starters were mediocre, with very small portions of calamari at a high cost, and the pork belly bites were overly fatty. The breaded chicken for the main course was flavorless and overcooked, leading to one meal being sent back. After our mains, we were asked to move to the bar due to a private party, which would have been nice to know before booking as we didn't want to relocate in the middle of our meal before dessert. Overall, we left the restaurant feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.
