Alway have a nice time when we visit, manager and employees are beautiful, always happy to accommodate, eat always well, we love the atmosphere covered and friendly.

Nice eating presents well, eating came in time fashion. the personal has checked that we were satisfied with our eating and were regularly checked when more drinks were required.

We were recommended this pub by a friend who had a fabulous Sunday dinner a few weeks before. we could not harm the polite, sweet and helpful staff. we were asked to switch from the dining room to the bar area after we had booked a table, as we had a dog we had checked that he was dog friendly, but that was good of us and were moved to a nice table in the bar area. (we had to ask to turn off the flat screen against us) drinks were all good, but unfortunately it was very average. three of us asked for sirloin steak baguettes boiled pink, but they were all well done, hard and gristly. the cod was overcooked and dry (loving fries/chips) and the gammon was a very small piece of smoked lend, was questionable.. more like a normal chicken. fishboard was tasty and what they would expect, huge brotberg! I'm not sure what we expected, but we thought we would definitely come back for a drink, but not to eat.

Characterful gadtro pub. Always a warm welcome. Very tasty food.

Booked online and there was not that kitchen closed at 6. so we were under pressure to order quickly. menu was very limited (a fountain menu if we knew it before we had not proceeded with the booking. as a shame as I was twice before and I had nice eating.
