Office Tavern Grill - East Hanover

Oof, this place straight up disrespected my wife and I. Service took forever to get drinks out and after our first round the server asked my wife what she wanted and didn’t even acknowledge me. Then after waiting an hour for food, I asked our server for an update. Her response was for what. Never felt so disrespected at any restaurant in my entire life.

Nice place to go and have a bite. Food is ok. Drinks are good, and the service is fair.

Well I hate to not give amazing reviews. It took some time to have someone take our order then brought out the wrong drinks for one of us. We asked for soup as an app and the only brought 2 of the 3 we ordered. When we asked about it they said they would check but never got back to us. We ordered their special meals. Soup was good. Onion soup very good. Burger had aioli on only one side of the burger so not so tasty. Tuna burger was overcooked, tasted like canned tuna made into a burger. Peach pie had almost no filling and bland crust. Overall I would pass on this one and try the other great places on Rt 10.

Food was 50/50. Do not recommend the Deviled eggs. Oysters were fresh.

We sat outside and had a good meal. One thing we ordered was the sweet potato nachos. The flavors blended well, but the sauce weighed down the chips and they became soggy. Would still return.
