What a charming little bakery! I visited for breakfast and really enjoyed the gluten-free tacos; they were quite tasty. I do wish they had gluten-free pastries as well. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, the food was good, and the coffee was delicious. While it's on the pricier side, it makes for a lovely treat, especially if you're on vacation.

Whenever I visit East Hampton, my kids and I always make a point to stop by Carissa’s. We never miss out on the fresh, crunchy baguette, the chocolate croissants, and the ham and butter sandwich. The pistachio and chocolate croissants are incredibly indulgent, and the seasonal fruit pies are absolutely delightful. If you're lucky enough to be there during strawberry season, you simply must try the strawberry croissants; I'm still thinking about them! Carissa can do no wrong! And who knows, you might even run into Ina Garten while you're there.
