The Village Inn Buriton

Too bad the place was empty. only a few more came when we were there. disappointed that there was only one steak pudding, but the hophead bier was excellent.

Beautiful atmosphere personal was friendly and helpful. they checked how we enjoyed eating and we even had a visit from the cook! our 8 month olds also enjoyed themselves. I would recommend the village inn. it was a scandal that it was not a real hidden gem.

We had a very nice lunch the room was compact, but clean perfect for our needs was good we left the feeling that every penny, if possible, was subliminal worried about what led to a slightly tense atmosphere in the restaurant during the breakfast

What a beautiful place for a meal. the eating (we had fish and chips) was excellent and the waitress attentive, but not excessive. will return definitiw.

Sadly charmless service and told we needed to order quickly as a large table was coming in, which didn't appear? Seemed they were too keen to finish up. Food was okay, Chowder very good but steak tender but lacked flavour, didn't taste 28 days aged. Contrast breakfast the following morning, different crew who were very good, charming and accommodating. Although asked for poached eggs and got fried... Shame as has potential
