We booked a Lamb Showcase evening and were not disappointed. Biased maybe I love lamb! The dishes presented I had never tasted before; From a spring roll, to a terrine, a wrapped fillet with local wild garlic, a mojito to cleanse the palate before a rhubarb frangipane. All exquisite. Congratulations to Andy, the chef who presented his menu and certainly fulfilled the brief. Looking forward to the Italian showcase next month.

Quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Have been a number of times due to the fact we have always received excellent service both in the staff and the quality of drinks and food. Wonderful range of cocktails served in beautiful glassware. They offer a selection on a half price discount before 7.00pm making it perfect for a pre dinner drink. There were five of us eating trying different dishes and all were delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and quirky. Definitely giving holiday vibes meets London. So nice for a restaurant having white table linen, attentive staff and quality of food all that doesn’t break the bank. Will definitely be returning soon.

My brother and I had shin of beef bourguignon and mum had salmon. The food was amazing there wasn't anything we could find a fault with. Food served on warm plates which is always a bonus. Staff were attentive but not in your face. We will be returning soon.

I had heard good reports of AJ’s but I was disappointed, the experience didn’t come up to expectations. The sharing platter was sparse for the price and the main (venison) was tasty if a little tough.Personally I would have liked more jus which was delicious and presentation could definitely have been better.

Service was polite and efficient, table was fine so all good until food arrived! Probably worst main course we have had in some time, the pheasant was dry, salmon over cooked and beef tasteless and inedible Kale on all our plates. We had one meal free but really should have been all four. The one star is for the service as front of house good.
