Lion Star And Grill

Not been in for a while but decided to go as we'd heard it was under new management. The place was clean and staff welcoming. We had lunch and two Jack's with coke for less than £35. Food was excellent as well. Highly recommend the Lion and Star.

Recently visited while on holiday , ordered the dirty Denver fries and Mac and cheese. The service was quick and friendly , the staff were very polite. The food came very quickly and definitely didn't disappoint. For a side , the fries were a large portion and cooked to perfection. The bar staff were quick and made sure everything was right. Really nice atmosphere and very clean restaurant, best meal I've had while in Kirky. We will be visiting again , definitely recommend. Keep up the good work.

Went into the lion and star before work for a spot of lunch was greeted and seated by the staff on shift I ordered the dirty denvor fries the food that arrived at my table was amazing and the portions where huge compliments to the chef on today will certainly be back

This morning, my husband, kids, and I enjoyed a wonderful birthday breakfast at the restaurant. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, even surprising me with a cake. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Was back at this place a couple of weeks ago to meet a friend for coffee, I really wish I hadn 't. When I went upto the bar to pay for our coffee 's the chef was standing at the end of the bar, I glanced over just at the time when he wiped his nose with his bare hand and then rubbed it into his chef whites. I could not believe what I saw, sickened and disgusted is a huge understatement. Will NEVER set foot in place again. My husband and I used to love this place, now I wish they would shut it down
