Crow Tavern Bishopbriggs

I traveled from Gdynia, Poland on a Tuesday evening and was fortunate enough to arrive in time for the last orders at my favorite bar in Bishopbriggs. I was warmly greeted by Joe, who seemed familiar from a previous visit. The following Wednesday, before the Europa Cup final, I met up with some friends for a drink. Upon arrival, a security guard informed me that only ticket holders were allowed in. As I was just passing through on a flight visit, I explained the situation to Joe who kindly allowed me and my friends to stay for a maximum of 2 hours. This level of understanding and flexibility is what sets apart a family-owned establishment. I hope it won't be too long before my next visit.

The staff is extremely impolite, the service is poor, and as someone noted before, they are willing to serve underage patrons alcohol.

I recently returned to Scotland from my home in Poland for the first time in 11 years. While I was in Bishopbriggs with friends, they invited me to the Crow Tavern for drinks. It was a Saturday night and the bar was very busy on both the ground floor and upper floor where they had live entertainment. I enjoyed the atmosphere and customer service so much that I found myself visiting most days during my 15-day stay. The bar is conveniently located at the beginning of the station with a direct 5-minute service to Glasgow Queen Street, making it ideal for pre- and post-travel refreshments. A special thanks to Joe and his team of bar staff who made me feel like a family member. I highly recommend this place to everyone and I am sure I will return in less than 11 years.

Nothing worse than they went into a pub and into a group of their 15/16 year old school pupils were all totally destroyed, as this was on the administration when we quickly left, but got the impression that they knew they were underwater and not... intensifying to do something about it. I will not be back!
